About Bedfordshire Schools Training Partnership
A full range of PGCE curriculum subjects are offered across the 11-16 age group (*14-19 Business Studies) as well as Primary QTS age group 5-11 and age 3-7 Early years.
We believe the best place to train teachers effectively in the highly complex art of teaching, is in schools.
Our Background and experience
Bedfordshire Schools’ Training Partnership is a long established, thriving, school based, teacher training provider working on behalf of local schools. We specialise in offering teacher training for both Secondary age 11-14 (age 14-19 for Business Studies) and Primary trainee teachers age 5-11 years. BSTP work across Bedford borough, Central Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire, working with a vast number of schools. The central training team is based at Pix Brook Academy, Stotfold, which is where the provider-led centre training takes place. We are part of Chiltern Learning Trust with Chiltern Training Group (CTG) who are our accredited provider. BSTP will operate as one of their secondary/primary hubs, with CTG providing the quality assurance and award of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
